Meet Coach Amanda this Weekend!

Hello Everyone!

I, Coach Amanda, will be at two great events this weekend. Come meet me, ask me questions, and pick my brain.

EVENT #1

Grunt Girl Racing invites you, and your friends to join us for "a little more than just your typical training run!"

Saturday, April 10: Improve your pre and post run preparation as well as nutrition and hydration with tips from certified coaches and professionals.

Where: Meet at Vertical Runner (store front) in Hudson at no later than 8 a.m. Andrea Chisnell and Stacy Rhea will lead the run.

Who/What: Coach Amanda Kephart from Akron General Sports Performance will lead the group in a dynamic warm-up, prior to the run (8 - 8:15 a.m., and 15-minute cool-down after a one-hour training run. Maps will be distributed prior to the run - no one is left behind.

Why: After the cool down, enjoy bagels and refreshments, courtesy of GGR at Vertical Runner, while Vince Rucci, owner of VR (endurance runner and coach), and Mel Liebling, Ironwoman, endurance runner discuss fueling strategies, hydration, recovery, race taper and heart rate zones.

This is a great opportunity to begin your season on the right foot, with the right training advice from local professionals and store packages and discounts to point you in the right direction.

EVENT #2

Nearly 200 exhibitors will greet visitors to the Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase set for April 10-11 at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School, 3227 E. Graham Road, Stow.

One of the area's largest promotional business shows, it is sponsored by the cities of Stow and Munroe Falls, the Stow-Munroe Falls School District and the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce.

The hours of the showcase are:

April 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 11, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I will be at the Stow Showcase in the morning hours. SEE you this weekend!
