Athlete Spotlighting #5: Nate Lundy

Hello Everyone!

Our 5th Athlete Spotlight is of one of the most well-rounded athletes I have ever had the privilege of training. He carries himself in such a balanced way: focused on constant improvement in all areas of life, a natural leader who encourages others and leads by example, and someone that understands the level of energy and drive that goes into achieving goals.

When I am not training at AGSP, I am:
Doing AP homework, watching Sportscenter, hanging with the guys, on a date, at a football game, doing volunteer work, PLAYING BASEBALL!

What are your short-term goals?
To be a team captain for the Warriors this year. I made Varsity as a Sophomore, was a starter my Junior year, and this year a hope to be a captain and lead the team to a State Championship.

What are your long-term goals?
To play Division 1 Collegiate Baseball while studying medicine. I want to be an orthopedic surgeon, so I can stay in touch with athletes and put them back on the field, so pre-med is a must. I love baseball, and want to play it as long as I can and continue to get better.

How has AGSP impacted your performance as an athlete?
I have become much bigger, faster, and stronger. My agility has increased vastly and I have started to really hit the ball deep. I am truly ecstatic to be able to do so much more and to help the team out. I used to just lift here and there on my own, run a few sprints, and maybe do some agility work. Now, I walk into the AGSP doors 3x/week ready to get better and to give it my all. Coach Amanda has helped me so much, and I couldn't get the results I have gotten without her motivation. I am now running faster, throwing harder, jumping higher, and hitting the ball a lot harder; many thanks to AGSP.
